Yeah, the trans is a little clunky in places, but since I've been so slow lately, and Doc was so kind to draw the diagram for me (thank you!), I thought it would be best to post what I have now, and fix it later. ^_^;; As always, any input or translation help would be wonderful.

Next, I want to do the first couple of paragraphs of #8, since a bunch of people have asked for that one specifically. But to be honest, that section doesn't catch my interest much yet, so after that, I'll probably grab chaos's group of sections.

17. What is the Maiden of Maria?
Shion's previous existence, the Maiden of Maria-- what kind of person was it? In the era of ancient Lost Jerusalem, the Maiden of Maria existed at what kind of position? And what kind of ability did she possess?

<<The "Apostles">>
　　　　"Apostle" means a person who devoutly endeavors in holy work. In the era of ancient Lost Jerusalem, there were 12 Apostles for the man who was called the Messiah. Because this number of people was used also in connection with later eras' religious authorities, nowadays after thousands of years have passed, it is difficult to confirm the exact number of people or exact members. There also existed many people around the Messiah who were similar to the Apostles.
　　　　Among the people such as that who encircled the Messiah, was Maria. She was the partner of the Messiah, and her existence, the same as chaos, was someone extremely close to the Messiah.
　　　　And then, in order to use that power of Animus in Maria, there was an existence that was also called Maria's Apostle. That was the Maiden of Maria-- Shion's previous existence.

<<Maria's Death>>
　　　　If the Maiden of Maria is necessary in order to use the power of Animus-- Maria's real form-- when the power of Anima was divided, the Maiden of Maria probably used that power.
　　　　The ability of the Maiden of Maria is the ignition that allows the release of the power of Animus, and it is also the released power's control. By that meaning, the manifestation of the power of Animus requires both Maria and the Maiden.
　　　　At that time, the power of Animus scattered throughout the UMN, and Maria's real-number domain existence died. Her body was buried at Rennes-le-Chateau.
　　　　Ages afterward, Maria's consciousness was revived in Kos-mos, and she spoke that long ago she ended up allowing the Maiden to die. Does this indicate that the Maiden of Maria also died along with Maria at that time? Or did Maria die, leaving the Maiden behind, and afterwards, the Maiden fell into a situation that lead to death? Either way, it is perhaps that the death of Maria and the death of the Maiden are not unrelated.

<<The Maiden's Death>>
　　　　Before the death of Maria. Shion's previous existence, the Maiden of Maria, met with death. But it is unclear what kind of event it was. However, the consciousness of Maria that had awakened in Kos-mos regretted that she was not able to protect Shion who was once the Maiden. In other words, it is thought that after chaos' power was divided, in the interval until Maria died, Maria lost the power of Animus, and right before her eyes, Shion's previous existence, due to some sort of incident, met with death.

<<Apostle and Maiden>>
　　　　The Maiden of Maria constantly accompanied Maria. It was just like how the Messiah's Apostles accompanied him.
　　　　In other words, just as the Apostles were present where the Messiah was present, so too was the Maiden where Maria was present. If an image of those times had been left behind, maybe a figure of the Maiden of Maria could have been confirmed.

18. What is Eternal Recurrence?
Practically speaking, what kind of thing is Eternal Recurrence? To which point in time does time go back? What becomes of the memories of those who exist in the Lower Domain? Does Wilhelm remember all of the history that was repeated over again? How does the Lower Domain's circle of time look like when viewed from the Upper Domain?

Eternal Recurrence restarts the Lower Domain from the Big Bang. Due to this, the impending future of the collapse of the Dimensional Universe can be avoided. On the other hand, as the Upper Domain does not get affected by the restart of the Lower Domain, there is a continuous flow of time, and from there, the Eternal Recurrence of the Lower Domain is observed countless times.

<<Repeating History>>
　　　　Eternal Recurrence is conducted by Wilhelm. Due to it, time becomes turned back to the moment of the Dimensional Universe's birth, i.e. the Big Bang. From there, all of history processes down the exact same flow. However, people have lost even memory, and for those who exist in the Dimensional Universe, it is something that can only be recognized as an entirely brand-new history. But, from the whole universe that contains the Upper Domain, that Dimensional Universe can perhaps be seen as if repeating the same things.
　　　　By continuing around the constructed circle of time, the arrival of the future is eternally avoided.
　　　　That is Eternal Recurrence.

<<Eternal Recurrence Seen from U-Do>>
　　　　When watched from U-Do who is an existence of the Upper Domain, the Eternal Recurrence of the Lower Domain may be seen as the same history repeated countless times. As if playing the same game, or watching the same drama over and over again.
　　　　Perhaps U-Do watches the Lower Domain with the feeling as if "is this same history being repeated again?"

<<Eternal Recurrence for Wilhelm>>
　　　　Wilhelm himself, since he too is an existence within the Dimensional Universe, is not exempt from the resetting of Eternal Recurrence. In other words, Wilhelm is also someone who forgets all memories and repeats experiences from the beginning.
　　　　Even while understanding this is so, he still aims for Eternal Recurrence.

<<Eternal Recurrence and Change>>
　　　　Shion and the others' decision became something different from the history that had come to repeat up to then. And because of that, Eternal Recurrence was refused-- it would not revolve once again-- and it came to be that they continued on to a different future.
　　　　Where was the main cause of that change?
　　　　It wasn't something big, an epic-making event; but rather it resulted from an accumulation of small changes.
　　　　If viewed from the Upper Domain, each time the Lower Domain repeats, a perfect copy isn't made, and small copy-errors can be discovered. And so, by the small errors that accumulate, a change which sways the core of that repeating history is produced.

19. Why did Wilhelm aim for Eternal Recurrence?
What really was Wilhelm, who aims for Eternal Recurrence? For what kind of reason did he aim for Eternal Recurrence? And, whatever kind of deep connection did he have with chaos and Maria?

<<Wilhelm and Eternal Recurrence>>
　　　　The collapse of the whole universe which would envelop even the Upper Domain due to the scattering consciousnesses, and the wiping out of the Lower Domain (Dimensional Universe) caused by the Failsafe to avoid that collapse-- both would result in the same thing: that our human world would completely vanish.
　　　　In order to save our very Dimensional Universe itself from both of these threats, Wilhelm chose Eternal Recurrence.
　　　　Repeating the same fate, Eternal Recurrence does not negate the history which will once again move forward toward the threat of collapse. Nor will it negate the history that was painted in conflict and pain. But it is something that affirms all of such human affairs.
　　　　In order to keep the Dimensional Universe from being denied, the one who must choose Eternal Recurrence is one who accepts every pain.
　　　　Those who wish to change the past cannot implement true Eternal Recurrence. There are many people who wish to return to the past. However, the basis for that wish is a desire to adjust the past. But when unable to receive the regrets that dwell in the past, the present should be eliminated, and wanting to change the past is the cause of that.{iffy} That is something that is human.
　　　　Accepting every past that occurred in reality, without denying any of it, will lead to affirmation. This truly is the strength of the transcended man.
　　　　And so, the transcended man imposes on all people the repeating of a Hell-like history. It has been the only means so far that can be done for the sake of protecting the Dimensional Universe.

<<Wilhelm?s role>>
　　　　chaos is the existence that was actualized into the real-number domain by the power of Anima, the Failsafe for the sake of preserving the entirety of the universe, which includes the Upper Domain. Maria is the existence that was actualized into the real-number domain by the power of Animus, the function for the sake of restraining the power of Anima from running out of control. And there was also a power with the function for the sake of preserving the very Dimensional Universe, the Lower Domain, itself. That actualized existence was Wilhelm. In the same way as chaos and Maria, he too was an existence that was actualized into the real-number domain by a power that emanated from the imaginary-number domain.

<<Wilhelm?s choice>>
　　　　Just as chaos could instinctively use Lemegeton, Wilhelm possesses as a part of himself the Compass of Order and Chaos. Having lost all memory due to Eternal Recurrence, he instinctively comes to discover the power that he himself possesses by intently watching the movement of flowing consciousness. And then, by reading the movement of consciousness there, he begins to understand what he must not fail to accomplish.
　　　　He must protect the Dimensional Universe. In order to fulfill the reason for existence that was burdened on him, in order to escape from a future that was predetermined and inescapable, Wilhelm submerges himself in darkness, and from behind the scenes, spinning people, history, and events, he endeavors to guide all to Eternal Recurrence.
　　　　With each Eternal Recurrence, he repeats painful decisions such as these from a clean-slate, and continues to protect the Dimensional Universe. It is so that he can protect the ?fragile world that traverses atop the thinnest thread?.

25. What was Rennes-le-Chateau?
Rennes-le-Chateau suddenly appeared in outer space. It was a piece of Lost Jerusalem that holds an extremely important significance, where an element was placed that was indispensable for Wilhelm, who spins [the threads of] Eternal Recurrence. Whatever kind of place could that ?Rennes-le-Chateau? be?

<<A Special Place>>
　　　　Rennes-le-Chateau is an extremely important special place. This is because it is a place where important things relating to the future of the entire universe were placed: Maria?s body and the Vessels of Anima.
　　　　In the era of ancient Lost Jerusalem, chaos? power of Anima was divided by Maria, and the Vessels of Anima were produced. In order to conceal the Vessels of Anima from Wilhelm?s eye, Rennes-le-Chateau was chosen by the hand of the devotees of Maria. The reason it was chosen is not clear.
　　　　Afterwards, after Maria?s death in the real-number domain, her body was also concealed in the same location.
　　　　The devotees of Maria were an anti-Wilhelm force that rejected the future of Eternal Recurrence, and to them, Rennes-le-Chateau was the very fortress itself for the sake of preventing this circle of eternity.

<<Appearance in Space>>
　　　　The body of Maria and the Vessels of Anima had been stored for safekeeping at Rennes-le-Chateau. Affected by the appearance of Abel?s Ark, what resulted was that only a single part of Lost Jerusalem, which had been reduced down to Planck Scale, had connected to Imaginary Space. That portion of land from Lost Jerusalem was recognized as a landmass floating in outer space.
　　　　The fact that it was called the Floating Continent certainly didn?t mean that it had torn away from Lost Jerusalem and appeared there. It was, after all, simply just one section that had materialized within the real-number domain.
　　　　However, just as was seen, spatial continuity had been severed from Lost Jerusalem, making it impossible to travel beyond the vicinity of Rennes-le-Chateau. In other words, travel to Lost Jerusalem from the Floating Continent could not be done.

<<The Existence of a Safe-Guardian>>
　　　　When Lost Jerusalem was on the verge of being reduced down to Planck Scale, and as humanity was escaping to the universe, Wilhelm recovered the Vessels of Anima from Rennes-le-Chateau.
