I got it.

First impressions so far:

-Great graphics
-The battle system so far, but it's still pretty fun
-Good music as usual (although I already knew this because I dled the soundtrack)
-I love pre-rendered backgrounds..this game is pretty. Cheesy
-Interesting story (atleast to me)!
-I love being able to be one with your demons, even being able to control or summon them in the middle of the city and solve puzzles. Other SMT's need this feature!

This game's demon collection is going to be more addicting than ever in this game I think. I talked to a guy who wanted to know what these girls down the street thought of him. I tried talking to them and nothing happened so I just started wandering around. I encountered an Alp demon and confined it into a tube. After the battle I summoned the Alp and realized that the Alp's secret technique is the ability to read minds.  I read their mind but I can't tell the guy my results. Anyway I can do that?

I wonder how many semi sidequests like this are in this game, because it'd certainly add to the fun of collecting demons.

I tried soloing as my Ubroch and didn't find anything in the area though. Sad

And on that note, so far the city seems pretty big!

I want to know. What am I? Who will define me?

I should get the game in the UPS later today, but I'm really far into Baten Kaitos Origins and at a really good part, but I want to play Devil Summoner too, and I'm leaving for Vegas tomorrow with friends argh! XD

Don't forget, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. Wink

This game is so fresh. It's like a mix between a pc adventure game like Monkey Island and SMT with some real time combat.

I'm definitely enjoying myself.

How is the AI?  I've heard that the ally demons can act extremely stupid.

They're okay, but you can control their actions if you want. The trouble is aiming their projectiles so they land.

Yes my first impressions are good, to be honest I am not the biggest fan of this qualifying system but it certainly does provide some decent TV, which is the main thing I guess. Can’t wait until tomorrow, should be a great few races.
